Please Save Yourself. It’s not worth it.

I was one of the first employees at the Miniso in Fairfield(back in march 2019) when we were still building the shelves, end caps, etc. Manager at the time was inexperienced(unreasonable expectations, little to no communication, schedule people on days they said they weren’t available, almost never on site, didn’t train us on how to work cash reg, etc.). Not only was the manager bad but the pay was $12 with no benefits and they expected us to stock and do cashier at the same time. My problem with that is that all the items needed to be stocked are in the backroom and being the only one on shift, it made it impossible to see if someone needs to check out at register. Which don’t get me started on the moans and groans of the customers. A huge problem at Miniso is that they would always change the prices of the items every few weeks so whenever I would ring a customer up, they would point it out and complain about it when I had no power over it. I couldn’t even change the price of the item because the register didn’t allow that. On top of that, there’s a cancel item limit so when it reaches that threshold, the register is unable to be used(manager at the time did not know how to restart register and did not know the login for the registers). Anyways… fast forward to now, I heard there’s a new manager at Miniso so the environment might’ve changed since then.
